Michael Day

Michael Day is regional governor for SMPTE Asia-Pacific and an active member of the SMPTE Australia Section.

He has an Honors Degree in electrical engineering, from the University of Technology Sydney and 30+ years of experience in broadcast television, subscription television, major televised sporting events, OTT streaming, digital media, and global media delivery platforms.

Day is currently head of product management for professional media at Telstra and responsible for media centric networks, cloud, and managed and professional services.
