John Hogan

John Hogan is the chief technology officer at Stan, the leading local streaming service in the Australian market. With over 15 years of experience in online media, he began his career as a software developer at digital agencies before moving into leadership roles. In 2010, he became the technical owner for Australian television broadcaster Channel 9’s live streaming, video on demand, and advertising products before joining the SVOD start-up Stan, in 2014. John has helped take Stan from concept to supporting millions of customers through highly scalable software and infrastructure design, with the use of cloud-based solutions.
