NEP Australia
Operations Coordinator HUB and SVGW Mentee

Grace Haywood has been working in television production and broadcast for six years. She started her career in New Zealand working predominantly as a vision switcher for NEP New Zealand. Prior to this, Haywood studied post production at film and television school, however her goal was always to work in live sports broadcasting. Her career in New Zealand consisted mainly of switching horse and dog racing, with a couple of small broadcasts where she was the Simply Live operator for NZ Winter Games and NZ Rugby 7’s Trials.

In 2019, Haywood decided to move to Sydney, where she was lucky enough to transfer within NEP. She is the coordinator for Andrew’s Hub, Sydney, where she has more of a client facing role. Haywood is the go between for the client and crew with the engineers. She mainly works on NRL, Netball, Super Rugby, and Cricket; but she also helps with the Melbourne Hub which covers AFL, NBL, and Cricket.

Haywood is extremely passionate about sports and the role in which women play within both sports and broadcasting. She hopes that she can help pave the way in making a difference for young women in the industry.
